Solarez repair putty is the original UV-cure, 3-minute repair product. It contains clear polyester resin and fiberglass fibers along with adhesion promoters and an amazing solar activated catalyst. There is no mixing required. Just use it straight from the tube. It gels in 30 seconds, curing in 3 minutes but only when exposed to sunlight or artificial UV light such as a suntan light. Don't be fooled by imitations. Solarez has had a long line of imitators - curiously enough by previous distributors that claim to be ultra clear or contain dispersed fiberglass fibers. The truth is that no other product cures as clear or stays as clear or has the fiber content or has the adhesion or strength as Solarez. Microlite-white (lightweight clarkfoam repair putty) is for filling larger voids and is very sandable. For epoxy boards, Solarez UV-cure epoxy is recommended.
